About the photographer


I'm a freelance event/portrait/studio photographer. My main objective is to care for the whole job and my client's needs with professionalism. I love capturing candids shots with expression, portraits with different angles and creative shots.

I'm a self-taught photographer and I start from scratch. I have passion for photography since young when i started to play with my dad's film camera. I started digital photography in 2005.

I also do my personal photography which consist of creative shots and product shots. I've been in photography industry for 3 years and going. Some of my shots have be either published/public activities/websites.

I believe in this; Shoot and shoot and shoot. Every shoot is a learning puzzle to the world of photography. There is no end to learning.

Some portraits



Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation Games Night

My second time taking the event from Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation. It was their games night where patients will engage in games and interactions with one another. Below are some pictures from the event.










Sony launch NEX3 and NEX5

Got opportunity to witness the launching yesterday 2nd of June 2010 where Sony break another world record again having a DSLR image quality on the slimmest camera body.

I got hand on NEX 3 and NEX 5 with the new lenses range from 16mm f2.8, 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 and the 18-200mm f3.5-5.6.

I got to test this cutie myself with full DSLR function with video capabilities. It can even auto focus when recording in video mode which i believe other brands doesnt have this capabilities on the DSLR. It has also shutter rate up to 7 frames per second with 3D sweep panorama. Its soo cool that it even let you have image taken at ISO 12800.

Whats more it also have optional mount converter from E-Mount to the A-Mount which then you be able to use the Sony CZ lenses and G lenses on NEX 3 and NEX 5. Which means you can even take this slimmest camera and mount it on the good lens which make your image quality a lot much better. But the bad side is it can't auto focus with the A-Mount lens. So might as well you use Minolta legendary MD lenses on this Nex 3 or NEX 5 for tack sharp lenses and walk about lenses.

ISO was as much usable up to 3200 which is again something much better than the current alpha entry model. Noise was almost unnoticeable at 1600 (have not try to open the RAW file in computer). Regarding the 3D sweep panorama, it actually can take a panorama and then can be view on the Sony Bravia LCD TV which have 3D capabilities to view the image in real 3D. When i tried it out, i was like "Wow! can my pictures be like that too??!!" Too bad, only one NEX 3 and 5 will got to process it that way.

Lastly, i tried this cutie on Sony 70-200 f2.8 G lens. No AF but still have the function for MF assists which it help to zoom 14 times to get the area of focusing sharp before you snap the picture. And not just the 70-200 but i did tried on the other A mount lenses just to name few the Sony CZ 16-80mm f3.5-4.5, 50mm f2.8 macro and ect.

Sony also showcase the next generation of E-Mount Camcorder which they only show the dummy. Well imagine this camcorder mount onto Sony 300mm f2.8 G lens. Yeah cant believe it but it can be done.

YOG CEP 2010

Having a lot of shoots this few weeks and have not been updating my blog with photos.

Below are some of the shots taken during the YOG CEP seminar programme as i'm one of the YOG Youth Photographer for this year YOG. Made a lot of friends with the athletes and the Champions. Will be very busy for the Month of August and all my gears are ready for the very 1st YOG actions taken place in Singapore.
