About the photographer


I'm a freelance event/portrait/studio photographer. My main objective is to care for the whole job and my client's needs with professionalism. I love capturing candids shots with expression, portraits with different angles and creative shots.

I'm a self-taught photographer and I start from scratch. I have passion for photography since young when i started to play with my dad's film camera. I started digital photography in 2005.

I also do my personal photography which consist of creative shots and product shots. I've been in photography industry for 3 years and going. Some of my shots have be either published/public activities/websites.

I believe in this; Shoot and shoot and shoot. Every shoot is a learning puzzle to the world of photography. There is no end to learning.

Noise Singapore 2010

Salutation,

Just came back from Noise Singapore Launching Party at Raffles City at Level 3. My work was short listed and you guys can view it at Noise Singapore website. You can view my pictures in Showcase tab under 2010. Just type the artist name, "Afi" and you will be able to view the pictures which got shortlisted.

Since this is my 1st time submitting pictures at Noise Singapore, out of 9000 images submitted, 700 plus were shortlisted. 5 of my images was showcase in the website. Next year, I hope for showcase at the roadshow. Well, thinking of some series for the theme. Gona be cool.

Photography art is not just a photography but it is an art to tell people the stories of the photo by just looking at it. It can tell many stories and thousand of it if you able to think what the photographer is trying to say.

Will post pictures after my exam. 1 Paper left.
